Black and Yellow Garden Spider - Macro closeup shots

I encountered this Black and yellow "Garden Spider" (Argiope Aurantia) outside and just had to take a Macro shot. This series shows macro shots of the body parts of the spider's head, eyes, back, and legs.

This spider was really big, but from reading, it feeds on insects and is no harm to humans. Every night, it eats its web and builds a new one.

Long night exposure of building -Virginia Commonwealth Uiversity (VCU)- Richmond, VA

This is a long exposure using fill flash of a building on Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, VA. This is located at the intersection of N 5th St and E Jackson St. I am not sure what is in this building, but google maps says at this location is: IBM Philip Morris, MDS Pharma Services‎ and MDS. It is located in the midst of Virginia Bio tech Research Park at VCU.

Valerie Motorcycle Shoot

I had the pleasure of shooting Valerie on location with her husband's motorcycle club. We choose to shoot at a semi-deserted boat launch area in Yorktown. Her husband in addition to 4 other club members were there and she wanted to shoot with all the bikes.

HDR High Density Resolution Images at Hampton University

I have been having some fun playing with HDR images. I took these shots at Hampton University. I am still in the early stages of learning HDR, but I am pretty happy with the outcome so far, and I can only improve for the future.
